SUMMARY:Lee Manor Society Autumn Tree Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Lee Manor Society Autumn Tree Walk will be on Saturday October 5\, 2024. The walk will start at 11am at the Lee Green crossroads by the history panel. We will be looking at autumn colour in the wide variety of species in the Burnt Ash Road tree avenue\, including our recent plantings\, and other local streets. Time permitting\, we will walk into Manor House Gardens with its wealth of historic trees\, many dating back 250 years to the original planting when today’s public park was the private garden of the Lucas and Baring families. No advance registration needed – all welcome. Just turn up!

DESCRIPTION:There will be a Lee Green Assembly meeting on Tuesday Oct 8\, 1900 to 2100.  The details are below: \nYou are warmly invited to join us at the next Lee Green Assembly meeting\, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 8th October 2024\, from 7pm to 9pm at the Ichthus Lee Green Church\, 23 Lampmead Road\, London SE12 8QJ. \nLocal Assemblies bring together residents\, councillors\, the police\, local organisations\, and the wider community to decide on how to improve the local area. Open meetings are held up to 4 times a year and anyone who lives\, works\, or studies in Lee Green Ward is welcome to attend and get involved. \nItems on the agenda for this meeting: \nUpdate on Leegate Redevelopment Scheme – Representatives from Galliard will be in attendance to take any questions you may have about the development\, timelines etc  \n  \n\nLeegate Traders update – Get an update on their relocation efforts etc.\n\n  \n\nLee Green Sustainable Streets Consultation update\n\n  \n\nPolice Safer Neighbourhood Panel meeting – feedback from meeting held on 25th September.\n\n  \n\nCommunity Groups update and any other business.\n\n  \nThe Assembly provides a chance to raise other issues that matter to you. So\, do come along and take part to improve your area. The Kent Kite Flyers will fly their spectacular kites in the arena and will be on hand to give help with flying your own.
