Lee Manor Society Annual General Meeting

All are welcome. The AGM is a chance to hear about the Society’s activities throughout the year and its plans for the future.

The guest speaker will be Paul Wright, historian for the Blackheath Society.  He will be talking about the post-war redevelopment of Lee. Illustrated by photographs taken by the then vicar of St Margaret’s Church. The area covered is mainly to the north of the Lee High Road which went from poor Victorian and pre-Victorian housing to a mix of council and private developments. This in the context of  the redevelopment of Leegate and the Lee Green crossroads.
